Toyota India has launched its most awaited car, Toyota Etios Liva, in late June this year as the first hatchback. Showcased in 2010 at the Auto Expo, this small car has been introduced in competition with the new models such as Maruti Swift, Hyundai i10, and Volkswagen Polo. Despite its recent launch, Toyota Etios Liva is capturing the attention of the car fans via its glossy looks, anti-scratch paint, and fantastic design that corresponds to the Indian roads. Because Toyota is a volume giver, even this model has different variants. 

Engine 

All the variants of Toyota Etios Liva are equipped with 1197cc, 3NR-FE, gasoline, and DOHC engine to offer a high power of 80 PS at 5600 rpm as well as a high torque of 104 Nm at 3100 rpm. The fuel system in each of them is Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). Further, all its variants include five gears, manual transmissions, and four cylinders. 

Design 

Liva is well designed due to which it boasts a marvelous appearance featuring the Toyota’s typical exterior. The compact design offers ample to all the five seaters. One can expect a plethora of comfort features such as trunk lights and low fuel warning lights, the car is rated well for its comfort. Talking about the exterior features, this small car boasts a U-shaped grill, muscular shoulder line, head lamps, fog lamps, adjustable headlights, boot release, wheel covers, tinted glass, and body-colored bumpers. From the rear, it looks unique, while the shoulder line offers an assertive look. 

Interiors

These truly reflect that Toyota never forgets to fulfill the requirements of the customers. You will be happy to know that its stylish interiors have much space for head and leg accommodation and air conditioner for cooling you down despite of the scorching sun. Decent dashboard, music system, power steering with adjustment, power windows, central locking, steering mounted audio controls, glove compartment, heater, and rear wiper/washer make up the interior. The only drawback is that you might have to compromise on carrying the luggage. 

Safety 

You can expect a variety of safety features such as optional anti-theft alarm, airbags, brake assist, seat belt warning, child lock, central locking system, rear view mirrors, engine check, and front and side impact beams. All these assure you of a safe driving experience. 

Variants, Price, and Colors 

Toyota Etios Liva comes in four variants namely, G, J, V, and VX. All of them are available in an array of colors such as Symphony Silver, Ultramarine Blue, White, Celestial Black Harmony Beige, and Serene Bluish Silver. The price for these models varies from Rs. 4.12 to Rs. 5.97 Lakhs. 

Get Toyota Etios Liva home if you wish a myriad of features at a medium price. The small hatchback has all the comforts to offer you a joyous ride. Above all, you do not have to worry about the parking too because of its small size. In short, for the Indian buyers, it will suit well.

Mileage is the most important thing for petrol cars. So what is liva mileage?

I would like to know the km/ltr. We are all concern about the mileage. It is very important otherwise Toyota is an international brand so regarding features I dont have any interest.

Well your article is very informative and it is not biased. You should have mentioned the km/ltr also since you are the expert in this field. I am from Delhi and would appreciate if u kindly let me know which baby 2 go for between VW Polo petrol - Toyota Etios Liva or between Ford Figo petrol - Nissan Micra petrol considering the good performance, service, and value for money.
