Tata Aria

Tata Motor’s first Indian four-wheel drive crossover Tata Aria comes with a wide array of luxury features. With a sedan-like finesse, handling and quality ride and SUV-like off-roading and performance, Tata Aria is a perfect blend of a sedan and an SUV in a single car. 

Aria Engine

Tata Aria is packed with a 2.2 Litre DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) CRDI Diesel Engine with a dual mass flywheel to reduce unwanted vibrations. The engines are same as the one that powers Tata’s pre launched SUV Safari and is capable of performing really well on all roads. It is refined with rubber mounts, better acoustic package and aluminium cast sump. The Engine Displacement is 2197 cc. The maximum power of the engine is 138 bhp at 4000 rpm and it can develop a maximum torque of 320 Nm at 1700 to 2700 RPM. The engine is competent of offering excellent fuel efficiency.

Aria Design and Comfort

Being hailed as the most sophisticated Tata ever, the design is classy and suave. It comes in a crossover segment. With the wide and aggressive upper front grille, the exterior is astounding. The domestic version of the car comes with six airbags (driver, front passenger, curtain and side airbags), ABS, Darkness Sensing Lights and ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) ensure additional safety.  The four-wheel drive has enhanced support due to Traction Control System (TCS), cruise and standard controls.
 
Aria Variants, Price and Colors


Tata Aria has been launched in three trim levels, each with 4 x 4 Adapterra Torque-on-Demand System, In-Dash GPS-based Navigation System, Electronic stability Programme, Traction Control System and all the above mentioned features.  The Aria Pride is at the top end, Aria Prestige and Aria Pleasure are the other two. Aria Pleasure is priced at Rs. 12.91 lakhs, Aria Prestige begins at Rs. 14.18 lakhs and Aria Prestige leather is priced at Rs. 14.55 lakhs. Tata Aria Pride comes at Rs. 15.56 lakhs. 

Tata Aria comes in eight attractive color options for exteriors including Castelle Grey, Arctic Silver, Walnut Gold, Surf Blue, Sardina Red, Night Shade Black, Quartz Black and Pearl White.
