Chennai, April 21, 2007: Premium range of luxurious Mercedes models has been presented by Daimler Chrysler in Chennai on Friday afternoon. Mercedes Benz CL and S class were unveiled.

Daimler Chrysler has mainly concentrated on fuel efficiency and economic travel. These dream cars are coming at the price range of Rs. 12 million and Rs. 15 million.

The company not only showcased new products but also had a very friendly and interactive session with customers.

Mr. Wilfried Albur, the Managing Director and CEO of Daimler Chrysler India said, “The introduction of the luxury coupe in the CL Class is a very good example of this aspect of our doing business. The luxury coupe points the way into the future with its innovative technology. Its design is a protagonist for a new aesthetic appearance and style. Diesel as a fuel is characterized by optimum power at low rpm and is therefore perfect for city driving conditions. Our cars exemplify these attributes."
