Italy, July 31, 2008: LML announced that the loss for the quarter ended June 2008 has widened. During the quarter, the loss of the company rose to Rs 133.16 million compared with a loss of Rs 112.50 million in the same quarter last year, due to higher input cost.

The company reported profit of Rs 1.66 a share during the quarter compared with a loss of Rs 1.40 a share in prior year period.

Net sales for the quarter rose 11.19% to Rs 247.40 million, while total income for the quarter rose 8.19% to Rs 251.21 million, when compared with the prior year period.
