A newer version of the Hyundai Sonata was revealed at the Auto Expo 2012. The company expects to launch this car by last week of February this year. This latest version of Sonata will be sixth version of this car. The price of this car still has not been announced and the company is going to reveal it by February end. The Managing Director of HMIL Limited HW Park says that this latest version of Sonata is going to strengthen their brand signature. The Hexa Space which is a multi purpose concept vehicle was also unveiled by the company at the Auto Expo 2012.

The Director of HMIL says that the company is presenting its concept MPV i.e. Hexaspace for first time and it will be very early to predict that when the car will be available for the consumers in market. He also added that it must at least take three-four years for the car to be out there. Hexaspace has a capacity to carry eight passengers and the seats have been created hexagonally which helps getting optimum utilisation of space. The car mainly focuses on the urban consumers who are in the age group of 30 to 40.

While addressing the media he also said that India has been a vast market for the brand and it will further play an important role in its development. But showing one concept presents the ideas of the company and to develop products for India the company needs to understand the market and the environment. India's automotive market has been growing at a rapid rate and the two cars i.e. Hexaspace and Sonata will be setting new benchmarks for the Indian markets.  It has been a tough year for the Indian automotive markets and the company wants government intervention for revival of markets in the next quarter. Though the market conditions will not be improving anytime in near future but government intervention will give positive vibes to the buyers.
