New Delhi, March 9, 2007: Top Automobile journalists (ICOTY) announced the Indian Car of the year 2007 in India s biggest metro Mumbai. The title has been won by Honda Civic.
A panel of ten judges adjudged this competition as selected Honda Civic out of the eight cars that reached the finals stage. The judges included Hormazd Sorabjee and Shapur Kotwal (Autocar India), Gautam Sen and Bob Rupani (BBC Top Gear), Bijoy Kumar Y and Srinivas Krishnan (Business Standard Motoring), Adil Darukhanwala and Aspi Bathena (Car India) and Yogendra Pratap and Sirish Chandran (Overdrive).
Honda Civic has already won many awards by various magazines and car of the year by CNBC TV 18. it has also bagged viewers’ choice award by NDTV.
