Mumbai, February 7, 2007: Business Standard Monitoring organized a rally Bosch Monitoring Mileage Run 2007 in which Ford Fiesta 1.4 Duratorq TDCI was declared as the most fuel efficient car.
Ford Fiesta has already made its name in Limca book of Records for being the maximum mileage marathon. By giving an average of 25.63 km per liter this car has emerged to be the real winner in the diesel category.
These two achievements have made Ford Fiesta an Auto Car King. In Bosch Monitoring Mileage Run in 2007 the participants wore taken to a 450 km route on the outskirts of Mumbai. Ford Fiesta won in the face of stiff competition from other automobile manufacturers including Hyundai Motor India Ltd., Audi India, General Motors India Ltd., Daimler Chrysler India Ltd., Skoda, Mahindra & Mahindra and Nissan.
To establish Fords global leadership in modern diesel engine technology and it create more awareness, Ford India recently organized a Diet diesel campaign. Ford Fiesta has made a name for itself in diesel segment and is doing very well globally. It is more like a customized car i.e. just as its customer’s want it to be.
