Auto Expo 2012 : Tata Motors Launches Three New Vehicles

Tata Motors showcased three new vehicles at Auto Expo New Delhi. Tata Safari Storme SUV , the new ICV & LCV range of the Tata ultra and the Tata LPT 3723 which will be first 5-axle truck in India. All these cars are slatedfor being launched this coming financial year. Tata Motors also unveiled the technology of alternate fuel capacity in four concepts - Indigo Manza, Nano CNG, Tata Starbus and the Magic Iris. The portfolio of Tata Motors already includes electric and CNG vehicles in the form of Indica Vista and CNG hybrid buses. 

Storme, the next gen Tata Safari has made a power packed impact. It is slated to be the epitome of performance and style, which is true with the 4WD pedigree that it has and the new technologies along with the new interiors and exteriors. It has a new front grill, power bulge on bonnet and projector head lamps. The twin chrome tipped exhausts, new guise in the tailgate, and the aerodynamic spoilers distinguish its rear. There is a spare tyre placed beneath the vehicle. It presents a much sportier look with its nicely designed roofs, the cladding mark in the side view, and the ergonomical sides. This also gives it a nice adventurous character. 

The Storme has got the force in the 2.2L 16-valve engine with a nice variable turbo which is mated with 5 speed manual transmission. The electronic shift and the classy turning circle with the radius of around 5.4 meters with the function of reverse parking helps in driving conveniently in the terrains. The ICV & LCV range of Tata Ultra which comprises of 5-14 tonnes was also launched at the Auto Expo. The range is powered by 3L and 5L common rail having 16-valve engines, aggregate life, long service intervals and also low NVH. It has a sleek steel cabin, hydraulic cabin, ergonomically designed seats which can be suspended mechanically. The long drives are made stress free with the telescopic tiltable power steering. There is also a continuous monitoring assistance of the vehicle which helps in continuous drives. The radial tyres, shock absorbers and disc brakes ensure safe and sound movement of goods.  

Fuel Concept of Starbus is a path breaking concept by Tata Motors as it runs on alternate fuels. It is developed with the help of Technology Development and Demonstration Programme under Government of India. The paradiso G7 runs on multi axle and has been jointly produced by Tata Marcopolo Motors Limited and Tata Motors. It has a world class aggregate and internationally acclaimed design which sets a new standard in the Indian Luxury Travel Segment. The bus will be having luxury seating and deluxe seating segments. 
 
Tata motors also displayed concept version of Tata Nano, Tata Pixel, Indica Vista, Tata Manza, Tata Aria, Tata Sumo and Tata Xenon. The other commercial vehicles were Tata Prima Concept, ambulance version of Tata Venture, New Ace Refresh, and Super Ace which has a let hand drive. With the introduction of these new vehicles Tata Motors was surely making its presence felt at the Auto Expo.
