Jaipur, May 28th, 2007: A new way of launching vehicles in the market i.e. ALTRUX has been presented by Ashok Leyland. In this old Ashok Leyland s vehicles will be purchased from the market and will be reconditioned by the company.

A 140 point check will be used to ensure the quality standard. It is a great beginning in a new segment. The customers who purchase second hand vehicles will now get good conditioned vehicles with a warranty of 6 months.

This scheme is only for Ashok Leyland Trucks in which the cab, chassis and body will be refurbished according to the set quality standards. The conditioned vehicles will carry genuine documents. 77000 units of these trucks will be sold approximately per annum. As compared to previous years sales there has been a hike of 35%.

The company is providing very good service with the same to ensure customer satisfaction and in turn attracting more new customers.
